UpGrow says it grows your Instagram account with AI. It costs $69 a month, or $34 a month if you pay for a year. On Trustpilot it scores 3.1 out of 5 from 3,769 reviews, and those reviews are split evenly between one star and five stars. UpGrow’s site says its AI finds people who are likely to follow you and engages with them for you. It says there are no bots and no fake followers, and that you do not give your password. It also says the work is done by “real-human IG experts” together with its AI.
There are three plans: Basic, Pro and Turbo. The higher plans add AI targeting of competitors, profile suggestions and AI-made image posts.
UpGrow’s pricing page also offers Instagram followers, likes and views as one-off purchases.
On monthly billing, Basic is $69, Pro is $99 and Turbo is $129 a month. The site shows these as reductions from $199, $299 and $399. If you pay for a year, the prices are $34, $49 and $64 a month.

We could not find a registered company name on UpGrow’s site. The footer says “UpGrow Agency”. The contact page gives an address at 415 Mission St, San Francisco, a phone number, and also lists Boerne, Texas. The About page says UpGrow raised $1 million in seed funding and describes a small team of engineers, designers and social media experts.
For comparison, Sup Growth is run by The Sup Group Ltd, company number 12219550 in England and Wales. Our About page gives the registered office in London and names the founder.
UpGrow suits you if you want a low yearly price and a large follower target, and you are happy for software to do the work.
It does not suit you if you need followers from one town or city, or if you want a person to choose who your account engages with.
The two work in different ways. UpGrow is built on software. At Sup Growth a person engages with people in your city or niche from your account, and each new follower can get a welcome message that we send by hand.
That is slower. Our clients gain 300 to 800 followers a month, against the 1,000 or more that UpGrow advertises. At $119 a month it also costs more than UpGrow’s yearly plans.

UpGrow’s site says no. It describes its service as AI-powered, run with human experts, and says it does not use bots or fake followers.
